LeoVegas Casino Review

LeoVegas is one of the bigger casino brands in the UK market. Founded around a decade ago, the site has had plenty of time to finesse its offering — so is LeoVegas the proverbial king of the jungle?

We’ll be answering that question in this expert casino review. Keep reading to discover our in-depth rundown of LeoVegas, including its games library, banking methods, customer support, welcome bonus, and a whole lot more.

Bonuses & Promo

Bonuses & Promotions

The welcome bonus for new players at LeoVegas comes in two parts.

First up is 50 free spins on Big Bass Splash.

The second part of the offer requires a deposit to take advantage. Players can opt in on two deposits and receive a match bonus of £10, £25, or £50 when they deposit the corresponding amount. What’s slightly more unusual with this offer is you must complete the wagering requirements in order to unlock the bonus funds.

Say you deposit £25 — the requirements are set at 35x the bonus, so you’ll only receive your £25 bonus credit once you’ve played through at least £875 (25 x 35) of your own money. This is slightly frustrating as other casinos will give you the bonus straight away, but considering new players also get no deposit free spins with no wagering, we’d say this probably balances out. You also get another 25 no wagering free spins — this time on Big Bass Splash — with your two qualifying deposits, so 50 in total.

For existing players, we found a few weekly offers where certain games are the focus on particular days. Live Lightning Mondays offers a bonus on Evolution’s Lightning Roulette for example, while Game Show Saturdays is a tournament for those playing Sweet Bonanza or Mega Wheel.

Design & Usability

There’s a lot to like about the design of LeoVegas. Time has clearly been spent on usability, laying the site out in a logical way so it’s easy to find what you want. The games library is segregated in a number of ways, and browsing it is a breeze. We particularly like that live casino games are given their own page — this is a wise decision with such a large catalogue. The search feature is snappy and gives accurate results.

One minor frustration is you can’t filter by developer in the slots and table games sections. We’d also like to see some more filtering options specifically for the slots. With over 1,200 titles, browsing by RTP, volatility, theme, or mechanics would be a welcome addition.

As for how the site looks, we have no complaints. The orange background may not be to everyone’s taste, but games are represented by eye-catching thumbnails. As a result, browsing the library is both pleasurable and engaging.
