If, like me, you use any of Virgin’s other services, you’ll enjoy the familiarity of this casino’s red and white theme. The site is generally easy to use and features some nice graphics, but it isn’t the most creative design I’ve seen. With sites like Casushi and 21 Casino bringing bags of personality and funky aesthetics, Virgin feels a little outdated in comparison. The details of the welcome offer, for example, are simply typed out in basic text at the bottom of the homepage. The mobile app fares a little better, so I’d recommend downloading that if you’re happy playing on your smartphone.

Software

I’m always relieved to see games from top developers like Evolution included in the mix — here players can enjoy live casino classics like Lightning Roulette alongside game shows like Cash or Crash. Lots of the best slot developers feature at Virgin too, such as Microgaming, NetEnt, and Play’n GO, as well as several providers that are slightly lesser-known but offer just as much quality, like Push Gaming and Light and Wonder.

While it’s a plus that PayPal is supported, I’d like to see additional e-wallet options like Neteller, Skrill, and MuchBetter.

There also aren’t any other options for players that prefer not to share their card details — the likes of Trustly, Paysafecard, and Boku would be welcomed as handy alternatives. That said, I’m always pleased to see Apple Pay included as an option as it’s just so quick and easy to use — here, it can be used for both deposits and withdrawals, which isn’t always the case.

I was impressed by the depth of Virgin’s help centre, which provides support articles on everything from withdrawal times to promotional T&Cs. If you do need to speak to someone, the site’s support team is on hand 24/7 via the live chat service. This is a big plus considering support at other sites like QuickSpinner and Casiplay doesn’t run through the night. There isn’t a phone line available for contacting Virgin Games, but customers do also have the option to get in touch via web form.

Virgin’s mobile site is very much in keeping with the desktop version, for better or worse. The full range of games is available along with all the same promotions for new and existing customers. I found each section of the site to be fast loading and easy to use, although it could still do with a fresh lick of paint.

App Review

The Virgin Games app is available to download for Android and Apple devices via Google Play and the App Store. I found the app to be more user friendly than the mobile site, with an altogether slicker interface and more intuitive navigation. There are additional graphics to match each of the main games categories, and additional shortcuts along the bottom of the screen for home, search, the Vault, and menu. I was even able to search the app for games from my iPhone home screen, cutting down the search time to a matter of seconds.
