These terms and conditions are pretty ubiquitous across ProgressPlay’s brand, and I would really like to see them be a bit more forgiving with their bonuses.

If, like me, you just want to deposit a modest £10 to begin with, you will have to wager £500 in order to convert your bonus into any real winnings, which would be capped at £30. With all that taken into account, the bonus really isn’t worth anything beyond being able to explore the games library without having to spend too much cash.

Design & Usability

There’s a lot to like about Lucks Casino’s design. The site features a rather modern, neon colour scheme, which was surprising considering Lucks’s comparatively conservative logo. That said, there is a marked simplicity to how the site is laid out, with the option to switch between the ‘Casino’ and the ‘Live Casino’ sections at the top of the page, and all the games and filterable categories beneath. I often find it frustrating to find live dealers in amongst RNG table games like blackjack and roulette, so I appreciate Lucks Casino separating them.

In fact, navigation is intuitive throughout the site, and there are many ways to filter through the expansive library of casino games. As on ProgressPlay’s other platforms, there is a ‘Favourites’ folder where you can store all of your favourite games, which is particularly helpful. You’re also able to filter by software provider, of which there are many. So if, like me, you’re a fan of a particular developer’s titles (Nolimit City, in my case), you can quickly access all of their games.

All in all, Lucks Casino is an extremely well designed site, and this extends to the mobile versions of the platform, but more on that later.

You only need to click on the ‘Providers’ tab on Lucks Casino’s homepage to know that the site truly excels when it comes to providing a variety of different software developers. In amongst industry leaders like Microgaming, NetEnt, Evolution Gaming and Playtech are smaller, lesser-known providers that are no less worthy of your time and money. I highly recommend you spend some time looking through the games by some unknown developers, because I’m sure some of their titles will take your fancy.

In total, there are currently 69 different software providers featured in Lucks Casino’s games catalogue, and every single one of them has something to offer. The only name that was missing from the list is Yggdrasil, who simply aren’t partnered with ProgressPlay, for now

In terms of the amount of payment options supported, Lucks Casino does an extremely good job. You can deposit using any of the following methods: debit card, Apple Pay, PayPal, Skrill, Neteller, Neosurf, AstroPay, Payz, Paysafecard and PayViaPhone. All of these — with the exception of Paysafecard and PayViaPhone — can also be used for withdrawals.

However, this is where things get a little tricker, and it’s unfortunately a problem that I’ve encountered on a number of different ProgressPlay platforms. Whilst withdrawals via Skrill and Neteller are quick, usually being processed within 24 hours, withdrawals made with any other method can take anywhere between 3-7 days to appear back in your banking account. This is often the case with debit card withdrawals, but it was disappointing to see that PayPal — usually one of the fastest withdrawal options going — can also take up to a week.

If you’ve played at any of ProgressPlay’s online casinos, you’ll be familiar with the available customer support options here. When you click ‘Support’, you’ll be redirected to the ‘Help Centre’, which is really just a place to find lots of helpful FAQs.
